2019 NSA Summer Seminar

The 37th Annual NSA Summer Seminar takes us to the Medora Community Center in Medora, North Dakota.
 
Pre-Registration will begin at $325 and golf will begin at $145.  
Registration will increase to $375 and golf to $170 on June 3, 2019.  
Registration at the door will be $425 and golf will be $195 so register early!
 
This meeting is open to all persons without regard to race, color, natural origin, sex, age, religion or disability. Anyone requesting a special meal or accommodation should notify the NSA within a reasonable time frame. NSA will accommodate reasonable requests.

Some courses impose themselves on the landscape, but at Bully Pulpit Golf Course you'll find yourself climbing through meadows and woodlands and meandering along the Little Missouri River, fully immersed in the beauty of the landscape all around you!
 
As you climb out of the shadow of the bluff on thirteen green, our signature holes await. "The Badlands Holes" number 14, 15, and 16 will take you through a rugged fairway gorge.  From butte-top tee boxes to a green among a sea of Badlands, this is one golfing adventure you're not soon to forget.

The tournament is a fun event for golfers of all skill levels.  
We will use a four-person scramble format.
  
NOTE:  You MUST be registered for the NSA Summer Seminar in order to participate in the golf tournament. Please include payment for golf fees with the NSA Registration. Fees will not be accepted at the course.

Hotel Information
The Summer Seminar will be held at the Medora Community Center in Medora, North Dakota.  A block of rooms has been reserved in Medora for June 24-27 under the “National Sunflower Association."  To make your reservation click here. Click on Hotel/Motel. Enter your check in date and check out date. You will also need to enter the Group Code 5781.  This will bring up our block of rooms and what you can select from. Rates start at $129.00 per room, per night, plus tax. Note: The total per/room you’ll see when making your reservation is for your entire stay; it is not a nightly rate.We have a few rooms blocked at the newly remodeled Elkhorn (formerly Bunk Houses). You can also call the hotel directly for your room reservations at 800-633-6721. Room block will be released on May 24, 2019.
 
Please note the resort’s cancellation policy:  A 24-hour advanced notice is required to change or cancel a reservation.
Getting to Medora:
Getting to Medora:  Major airlines fly in to the Bismarck, ND Airport. Rental cars are available at the Bismarck Airport for travel to Medora. Mileage from Bismarck to Medora is approxiately 133 miles. Airlines flying into Bismarck, ND are Allegiant, Frontier, Delta, American and United Express. Car rental companies at the airport are: Avis, Hertz and Enterprise.

From Bismarck:
  • From exit #159 on I-94W.
  • Follow I-94W to Exit 27 toward Pacific Avenue continue into the town of Medora.

Note: You must be registered for the NSA Summer Seminar in order to participate in the golf tournament. Golf registration includes 18 holes of golf and single cart fees. Breakfast, beverage/snacks for cart, lunch and prizes are all sponsored by Northern Bag and Box Company

Wednesday Evening Social/Dinner

Spouses and children are welcome to the Wednesday evening event at the Pitchfork Fondue on the Terrace at no cost; however, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. 
Buses will return attendees not attending the Medora Musical to the Badlands Motel around 7:30 pm. Buses will bring Medora Musical attendees back to the Badlands Motel after the musical is over.
 
Medora Musical – Wednesday Evening
7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The National Sunflower Association has reserved a block of tickets for the Medora Musical.  You are welcome to attend on your own. You will need to call 800-633-6721 to purchase and reserve your tickets. Tickets will be available in April 2019.
