CROP & WEATHER COMMENTS The week ended provided above normal temperatures supporting crop maturity. Temperatures in the week of September 14-19th are forecast to be above normal as well. This will aid in crop maturity. Most of the entire production region received some rainfall over the last 10 days. Late season diseases and blackbirds are being reported in some areas. Harvest is being reported for early planted sunflower in the High Plains.
