CROP & WEATHER COMMENTS Crop maturity is the greatest concern in the northern states. Continued cool temperatures of 4 to 10 degrees below normal were common in the region last week. Soil moisture is a concern is central SD. Eight percent of the sunflower crop is blooming in ND compared to 32% this time last year. In SD, 17 percent of the crop is blooming compared to 14 percent last year. While in KS 35 percent of the crop is blooming compared to 21 percent last year. Planting is still being reported in TX
